Dubailand is twice the size of Disneyland in Florida and 100 times the size of the Principality of Monaco. The total area exceeds 280 sq.km. This district will consist of huge entertainment areas, sports facilities, shopping centres, tourist and residential areas. The project was successfully planned more than 10 years ago, however the construction is still ongoing. The opening of Dubailand is planned for 2020, but you can already visit the territory of the complex. Nowadays, there are more than 25 large objects which have been already put into operation. In the future, Dubailand may become an independent city with a population of up to 2.5 million people. You can get there from Dubai via E44, E11 and D63 roads.
